Luego de la exitosa celebración y participación de destacadas maestras del ajedrez mundial, nuevamente desde Gran Canaria llega la Segunda edición internacional del GAMBITO DE DAMA 2021 un Torneo que va camino a institucionalizarse como el referente a nivel mundial de esta modalidad. Esta edición promete batir su récord establecido el 2020. Diseñado especialmente para las Damas ajedrecistas y con estímulos económicos iguales o asuperiores en comparación a muchos torneos de varones.
Es importante señalar el objetivo principal: difundir y masificar la participación de las diferentes categorías de la comunidad femenina. Diego Casimiro Cabrera preside el Club Centro Goya-Villa de Teror, convertido en permanente gestor e impulsor del torneo cuenta con el valioso apoyo de su equipo organizativo y técnico.
Resalta el importante apoyo del IID, Instituto Insular de Deportes que contribuirá a una exitosa ejecución y participación logrando con ello atraer la atención del mundo del ajedrez internacional en momentos muy difíciles de convivencia deportiva, a raíz de la pandemia.

Las jugadoras que hagan trampas serán descalificadas y expulsadas del torneo, sin premios y sin puntos. Si dicha situación se detectase concluido el torneo, la jugadora será excluida de la clasificación final, actualizando la misma, perdiendo el premio económico que en su caso le hubiera correspondido.
